WHAT A DIFFERENCE ON BROADWAY!
Today was an awesome day, not only because it was 60 degrees out, but because I made a huge difference on Broadway. I had noticed trash as I drove by. Anytime you notice trash, it's usually pretty bad. I picked up 1,136 pieces of trash in a little section from Dayton Mountain Highway to the top of the hill. That's a lot! Right off the bat, I picked up several broken bottles that had been smashed in the parking lot. And I found a big juicy nail on the road! Right where I drive! No matter where I go, I guess I'm going to find broken glass and nails. There was a section that was a little scary. Not a lot of room for me and my trash cart, but I was very careful, and pressed against the building when a car came. The terrain in Tennessee is quite different from Akron. Lots of steep ditches to navigate. And that's where the trash that is thrown from cars ends up. I was out for two hours, and finished this part. My g...
