Too cold to pick up trash today!

Today was very cold.  Too cold and windy to pick up trash, but I really wanted to reach my goal of 8,000 pieces this week.  So I bundled up and went out.  

The trash was easy to see, but not easy to pick up.  It was frozen in the ice on the sidewalk.  Oh, did I mention there was ice on the sidewalk?  It was pretty miserable.  

I picked up 200 pieces in an hour.  Usually I pick up 1,000 pieces an hour.  My butt was frozen.  But one thing was for sure . . .

How does one lose their boot without knowing it?
