I FINISHED THE ENTRANCE RAMP FROM WATERLOO TO ROUTE 8!

I finished the exit ramp from Route 8 to Waterloo, and I finished the left side of the entrance ramp from Waterloo to Route 8.  It's .8 miles from Waterloo to Wilbeth so it's a long area with a LOT of trash.

This morning I started at the Sunoco gas station, where the guy gave me a drink.   The gas station property was very clean, but the field beside it was a mess.  And under the bridge was a mess.  But I got it all cleaned up and then crossed the street to finish the entrance ramp.  IT WAS SO HARD!  My goodness!  There was so much trash in the briars.  I picked all these beer cans out of one bush!

How long have they been there?  And who's throwing their trash in the bushes?  It has to be people walking by, not driving by.

I cleaned the street, then the sidewalk, then cleaned out all the bushes.  I was so tired!

Usually, I pick up trash for three hours, take a break and then pick up trash for three more hours on the weekends.  Today, I wanted to finish the entrance ramp so I could move on to another area.  So I was picking up trash for five hours, and that was too much for me.

I hated to sit down on the ground, because cars were driving by, and somebody might think something was wrong with me, so I went up on the hill where the bushes were, and checked my phone.  Nobody would think that was weird, right?

I thought this image was pretty funny, so I texted it to my friends.  My boss said, "That looks like two feet coming out of the grave!"

That made me laugh out loud, and that's just what I needed to get a second wind.

I finished the entrance ramp, and it looks so nice.

Now I'll try to check on all the ramps at least once a month so they never get this bad again.

I picked up almost 10,000 pieces of trash this weekend.  I'm going to ask Keep Akron Beautiful to pick up the bags.  There was so much glass, the bags are too heavy for me to lift.

I took the dogs to get pizza to celebrate finishing the entrance ramp!

Oh, and to celebrate Super Bowl LVIII!
