THE TRASH AT WILBETH & ARLINGTON IS INSANE!

 

The trash at Wilbeth & Arlington is insane!  I drove that way on my way to somewhere else, but oh my goodness!  What a mess!

Can you imagine how this area would look if I didn't clean it every week?  It would be horrible, and it would make my city look like a landfill.

There were four or five men sitting at the garage next to the pizza place, and I got out of my car and said, "What on earth happened here?"  

Nobody said a word.  Don't even tell me they didn't notice.

I cleaned all this up in about 15 minutes.  Upon closer examination, it seemed to be trash from the pizza shop dumpster.  It looks to me like it was an entire trash bag of cash register receipts.  The homeless people must pull the bags out and pour them out to see if there's anything useful.

What a sad world we live in when people do things like this, and then walk away, leaving the mess for Mom to clean up, just like a child.

I picked up 944 pieces of trash on this corner tonight.  As I always do, I looked back, and smiled at how nice it looks now.

Picking up trash makes a dump site look like a park.

Am I the only one who sees this?

I can't be the only one who sees this.  It's such an amazing difference.

By next Spring, when I reach my one-million-piece goal, things are going to be different.
