IT'S EASY TO KEEP YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD CLEAN!

 

As I was walking my dogs around my block, I noticed a big nasty mess at the corner.  

I waited two days for my neighbors to come out and pick up the trash that must have fallen out of the trash can when the garbage was picked up.  

It was pretty obvious after two days that they weren't going to pick it up, so I cleaned it up.

It took me about 10 minutes to pick all that up with my trash grabber, and now it's not blowing all over the street.

It's true, it wasn't my mess.  And the people who live here should have cleaned it up.  But they didn't.

Maybe they are sick.  Maybe they thought the City of Akron or the Sanitation Dept. would come back and pick it up.

I could have knocked on their door and found out why they didn't clean it up, but why does it matter?  If I see a mess in my neighborhood, I want to clean it up.  I love my neighborhood, and I want it to look nice.  I want my neighborhood to be safe for dogs and kids.

Had I not cleaned it up, chances are, it would have blown into my yard anyway.
