IT'S ALL ABOUT THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX!
Tonight, I went back to the area that I cleaned yesterday, and I smiled when I saw it was still clean. So I continued where I left off.
Under the bushes, I found a kitchen chair with two legs missing, and two boxes of rotting food. Ick! Why?
I pulled the chair out, and it was so heavy. I could have left it there and hoped somebody else stronger than me would pick it up, but I know better than that.
I was so pleased! I had to walk quite a distance to the dumpster. I never could have carried all that.
I threw the chair in the empty dumpster, and it sounded like a bomb going off! That was kinda fun!
I picked up 1,955 pieces of trash tonight and covered a lot of area and made a lot of new friends.
One teenager asked me, "Are you famous?" I said, "Maybe." He said, "Are you on Tik Tok? How many followers do you have?"
That's where our conversation ended.
We had a nice conversation, and he showed me his trash grabber. The ground around this little stand was free of trash, but people who were buying his goods were leaving a trail all the way up the street.
Yikes! I wish he would tell every patron to throw the wrappers and cans in a trash can.
At the end of the day, I saw all of them pushing this heavy wooden structure up the road. It was on wheels, but it was still heavy. I have to give this family a lot of credit. Those kids will learn a lot of lessons with their little "business."
It’s Jaimi- I love that he is helping the kids learn about business and hard work!

ReplyDeleteHow amazing. A parent who is involved with his kids. You are right. They will know the value of a dollar.
