THIS IS THE BEST BLOG POST YET!!!

 

This is the best blog post yet!  But before I tell you why, look at this spot.  I cleaned it YESTERDAY!  Why?  Who does something like this?  (It took me 30 seconds to pick all this up.)

But here's why this is the best blog post yet . . . I decided I better get over to Lover's Lane & Brown.  I drove by a couple of weeks ago and it was horrible.  The taco truck is back.  So I left my house and drove by the high school.  ALL CLEAN.  Then I continued on Beardsley to Lover's Lane & Brown.   ALL CLEAN.  I drove south on Brown to Wilbeth.  ALL CLEAN.  What is going on?

I drove all the way down Wilbeth.  ALL CLEAN.  Now I know why everybody loves what I'm doing.  Now I know what it feels like to see what I've done after I clean a street.  Wow!

Before I parked my car, I drove down the street I cleaned yesterday, the street with all the potato chip bags that the guy told me would be all messy today? IT WAS CLEAN.

Then I went to a street I saw yesterday that was really bad.  I think this house is abandoned, and I pulled all these heavy tires out of the weeds.  Ick!  Filthy water in abandoned tires is a perfect mosquito breeding ground.  Keep Akron Beautiful will pick them up tomorrow.

So even with the delay, I picked up 1,872 pieces of trash tonight.  It was a very good night.

And I'm still smiling as I wonder who picked up all that trash.  I'm guessing that whoever did it believes in what I'm doing.  So all my hard work is finally paying off.
