I'M AT 750,000 PIECES! AND WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE THIS!

 

I'm at 750,000 pieces!  Three quarters of the way to my one-million piece goal!  Yay!

I haven 't posted to my blog for a week.  I've been out picking up trash, but nothing "blogworthy" has happened, thank goodness.  

The most wonderful thing happened today.  I drive north on Main Street to catch I-76, and today I was almost in tears when I saw how beautiful Main Street looks, all the way from my house to the freeway.  It's clean!  And I didn't clean it!  Look at all those trash bags at the exit ramp!

I don't want to clean the city of Akron by myself.  My goal in giving away trash grabbers, buckets, gloves, and t-shirts is to get people involved.  I can't do it all by myself.  I need everyone to join in.

Akron looks like we love and care about our city.  I can't begin to tell you how happy that makes me.
