IS THIS THE FUNNIEST BILLBOARD YOU EVER SAW?

I was driving to Barberton on Waterloo Road, and as usual, I was looking for trash as I waited for the light to change, and I saw this billboard.

Who comes up with stuff like that?  I think it's priceless!

I parked my car and started picking up trash.

I hate picking up soaking wet telephone books almost as much as I hate picking up dirty diapers!  Ick!

Why does the telephone company throw them on the ground?  Even if the people did want to use them, they are unusable when they're all wet and stinky!

The other side of Hudson Run had a lot of trash, and I discovered a hole in the fence where homeless people must be sneaking through.  That's why there's so much trash here.  Just like Akron!

There was lots of room on the other side to walk safely.

However, on this side, there was very little room, and this spot in particular was very scary.  Cars come flying really fast over this hill.

I picked up trash faster than I've ever picked it up before, and got out of there!

When my timer went off and I crossed the road, I noticed this business had zero litter.  Obviously they made an effort to keep their property clean.

Then a big dump truck came along, and the driver waved at me.  He pulled into the parking lot and just sat there.  Finally, he got out and came over to talk to me.

What a nice, nice man!  I enjoyed talking to him so much.  I told him what I was doing, and he started picking up trash that was in the neighbor's business with me.

I sure hope I see him again.

This is the neighbor's business.  He came out while I was there, and I walked over to his truck and asked him if I could leave the trash bags there.  I assured him the City of Barberton would pick them up on Friday, and he said that was perfectly fine.

He was just as nice as the first man!

There are some very nice people living in this neighborhood.  That makes me feel even better about cleaning this road.

I left the third bag here, where it will be easy for the City of Barberton guys to pick it up safely.

I picked up 1,312 pieces tonight, and I have one more section to clean before the last area that will be the hardest.  Not looking forward to it.

Please let it rain tomorrow!  I need a night off!
