I FOUND ALL THESE SCREWS AND BOLTS IN THE PARKING LOT!

 

Oh my goodness!  I found all these screws and bolts in the parking lot.  So glad I didn't park there!  I hope I got them all.

I find a nail or screw here and there, never anything like this.

I continued where I left off yesterday, and I filled my bag really fast.  Then I found this big bumper thing on the sidewalk and had to walk back to the dumpster to throw everything away and start again.

The area I cleaned yesterday was still clean.  I watched a half dozen boys play football on the grass that was clean.  It made me feel so good to know they appreciate what I did.

I asked them if I could take their picture, and they scattered, but one little boy was happy to show me how happy he was being able to play in a clean area.

Then I headed over to the playground, and one little boy had a bag filled with trash!  How awesome is that?  He dumped it in my trash bag and went to find more.

These kids were so cute!  I asked them if I could take their picture, and one little girl said, "Is that an iPhone 16?"  I couldn't believe it!  Kids are so smart today.

I only picked up 1,598 pieces today, but it was such a gorgeous day.  Searching for screws and bolts took a long time, and playing with these kids took a long time too.  

Totally worth it!
