WHAT A GREAT NIGHT ON MAIN STREET!

I am so pleased with what I accomplished tonight.  I missed three days because it was too cold and rainy.  So tonight I went back to where I left off Saturday when my son called and needed my help with his phone.

I found all these rusty cans and bags.  No idea what was going on here.

I think the homeless people got all this food, but didn't have can openers.

Think that's what happened?

And I found bubble wrap and bags and so much plastic.  Super stinky!  Ick!
And a broken dresser on the road.  Right on the main road where lots of cars go by.
Here's where I left off Saturday.  I was almost done, and I probably could have moved on, but I wanted to see what the entrance ramp to I-76 eastbound was like.
I found a boot on the road.  How does someone lose their boot?

It was my size.  Had I found the other one, I might have kept them!  (Just kidding!  Ick!)

Here's the entrance ramp to I-76 eastbound.

It was a muddy mess, and it didn't look that bad, but I picked up over a thousand pieces of trash here before my timer went off!

Can you believe that?

I didn't get it all cleaned up, but I got most of it, and when I'm cleaning an area that's as trashy as this area, it doesn't matter if I clean it all.  Every piece I pick up helps.

My trash bag was SO HEAVY!  I had wet paper, bottles, glass, car parts . . . and I had to pull it a block to where the other bags were.

That was one of the hardest things I've done yet.

There are six very heavy bags of trash to be picked up, and a piece of a car, but WOW, does this area ever look nice!

I picked up 2,103 pieces of trash tonight.

I'm almost to 900,000 pieces!!!
