WHO LOSES THEIR PANTS?
Oh my goodness! Who loses their pants at the Speedway? That's crazy!
Tonight I went back to the Speedway at Waterloo & Main to finish up. It still looked pretty clean. When the landscapers mow, it will really look good with no trash.
There was something in the trash bag. (I didn't look.)
There was another bag of something beside peppers that were spoiled, and a piece of steak that stunk to high heaven! I almost threw up.
All that right on the sidewalk at the intersection? Why?
After I finished around the gas station, I picked up trash along the sidewalk, and then out of all these bushes, and when I got to the end, I noticed an apartment complex. I didn't know it was there! My trash bag smelled horrible from the rotten steak even though I emptied it in the dumpster at Speedway. (Pretty sure they won't be happy about that!) I noticed the apartment complex had great big dumpsters! Wow! A dream come true!
You know how you're walking along in the desert and you see water? That's how I felt when I saw these dumpsters!
Absolutely no one said hello or thank you, but that's okay. People don't typically talk to me when an area is this messy, because they feel so guilty they live in filth. Not living in filth anymore!
I picked up 2,385 pieces of trash tonight. It was so good!
With the weather getting warm I bet your nose will get a workout while you clean up trash!

Amazing that you can go out and get that many pieces reliably every night! Every one of those pieces should have been thrown in a trash can or dumpster. How could so many people not care about keeping their city (and the world) nice!?
ReplyDeleteWow. Interesting combination of trash.
ReplyDeleteGreat night Debbie! Joyce
ReplyDeleteNice but stinky
