THE BUS TERMINAL IS BEAUTIFUL . . . WHEN CLEAN!

I think these first two pictures are so pretty!  It was a beautiful evening to pick up trash.

Tonight, I headed over to the bus terminal on Broadway.  I cleaned it last summer, and I figured it was probably a mess again.  And it was, but it was also very beautiful cleaning between the train tracks and the bus terminal.

When the train came by, I waved at the conductor.  He looked at me like I was crazy!

When the busses were all lined up to leave, it was quite impressive.

I have never ridden an Akron bus!  Isn't that incredible?

This is what it looked like when I started.  Trash for a mile or two in both directions.
It doesn't take long to pick it up, but the pieces are big, so my bag gets filled up fast.
I doubt that this area has been cleaned since I cleaned it last summer.
It will look really nice when I'm done.  It'll take two or three days to clean it all.
I spied a dumpster on the other side of the train tracks.  Hallelujah!  I needed a dumpster to empty my trash bag.

I wasn't sure how to get my trash cart over there.

I thought about it for a minute, and then took my bag out, and carried my trash cart in one hand, the bag in the other.

I emptied my bag four times!

I cleaned all the way down this road, and I noticed there were homeless camps in the woods.  That's scary, so I worked really fast!

Lots of people passed me while I was working.  Nobody talked to me though.  That was fine.  I wanted to get out of this area.

When I got to the end of this street, I saw it was very clean.  It's just this one spot that's been forgotten.

I picked up 2,152 pieces tonight, so I'm still on track to reach my one-million-piece goal by June 7.
