WHAT AN AMAZING PROBLEM TO HAVE!

 

I went out to pick up trash tonight, and there was almost nothing to pick up!  What an amazing problem to have!  Wow!

I started off Arlington, where there is always a lot of trash from the homeless people.  It was clean!  I picked up 123 pieces, but it was hard.  A lot of walking.

I loaded up the trash cart and went to another place where there are always lots of cans and liquor bottles.  I found one!  And I found this great big box and plastic bag.  I pulled that across this field to the dumpster.

Then I went to a third area, a playground that is always a mess.  All cleaned up.  

I was worried I might not reach my one-million-piece goal because my hip hurt, not because there wasn't any trash to pick up!

What an incredible thing.  Never thought I'd see it here.

I did find five screws and all these coins.  Some are in pretty bad shape, but still.  The bank will take them.

I guess you can't buy much with a penny, so people just throw them away.  I pick them up just like I pick up everything else.  I think they bring me good luck.

I picked up 685 pieces of trash tonight.  I guess I'm going to have to find another neighborhood tomorrow.  My work may be done here.
