WHAT WILL THESE AREAS DO WITHOUT ME?

I found more quarters and dimes today than I ever have before.  I wonder if that's because pennies are not going to be made anymore and people aren't throwing them away?  (That will work out really well for me!)
Tonight, I had three areas I wanted to check.  I just cleaned them within the last week or so.  I didn't think they'd be very bad.  I was wrong.  They were bad.

The first area was Main & Wilbeth.  I found two big pieces of wire.  No idea what they were.  I got them into my cart, sort of.

I picked up 1,308 pieces of trash on this corner!  That was a lot of bottles and bags and styrofoam cups.

I cleaned this garage in 2023, and it had trash piled up as high as me!  I said I would never do it again.  Who knows what kind of awful creatures would be living in that!

It wasn't as high as me, but I noticed it was getting trashy again, so I picked all the trash out of the leaves..

Then I went inside the Family Dollar and told the manager that I cleaned it, and told them they were doing a nice job keeping their parking lot clean.  (It has been way cleaner than it was two years ago.)
After that, I went to Waterloo & Main.  I have no idea how there could be so much trash at the Speedway.  I know I just cleaned this.  I picked up 1,114 pieces of trash here.

It looked like this on all four sides of the gas station!

Now it looks so much better.  Doesn't anybody else care?
I saw a can squished and then squeezed under a lamp post.

Maybe that's the problem.  People don't know how to throw stuff away!

And across the street, there were big pieces of plastic stuck on the fence.

It's almost impossible to cross the street here, so I drove over and parked and got that all cleaned up.

The last area was on Waterloo.  I picked up 1,338 pieces of trash here.

All three areas look so nice now.  After I reach my goal, I'm thinking I'll continue to keep these areas clean.  I can't imagine what they would look like if I didn't clean them if this is what happens after just one week!

I left there, super tired, but then I saw trash at the corner of Brown & Waterloo, and whipped into the parking lot of Ralley's and cleaned that up.  The employee at the window yelled out, "I've seen you all over town!  Thank you!"  And a woman in the parking lot asked me if I wanted a pop.  I didn't, but that was very nice of her to offer.

I'm just 11,000 pieces from my one-million-piece goal!
