LOOK AT ALL THESE NAILS THAT WERE ON ARLINGTON!!!
Tonight, I went back to the area I was working on yesterday, Arlington & Wilbeth, and I picked up another 2,111 pieces, including all these nails and screws! This is how this area looks now. Both sides of the fence are clean. As well as this side street. There was broken glass on every sidewalk square! There was so much trash here, blown into the fence. And now it looks like my neighborhood! I don't think anyone will keep it clean though. And I doubt that anyone but me will notice.
After I finished that, I went north on Arlington to Archwood. I just cleaned this area a month ago, and it was messier than I've ever seen it.
I picked up 1,485 pieces before my timer went off. A wonderful man at the drive through came running with a bottle of ice cold water. I usually have water in my car, but not this time. I was very grateful!
As I walked back to my car, I saw this liquor bottle in a brown paper bag thrown on my nice clean sidewalk! And a trash can right there?I'll be back here tomorrow, and if I can pick up as much as I did tonight, I'll reach my one-million-piece goal!
But I don't think I can do what I did tonight. I'm super tired and there was a lot of trash.
It will be nice when you reach your goal.
