THE LADY AT BURGER KING YELLED AT ME!!!

 

Tonight, I went to Wilbeth & Arlington and headed north.  I filled my bag in one hour and was looking for a dumpster close by.  There was a Burger King across the street.  I went over there and started to empty my bag, and someone yelled at me!  I walked over to her and introduced myself. I told her I was picking up trash around her building and across the street, and she said, "Don't go near my dumpster!"

I've never had anyone say that to me.  It's their trash!  I'm doing them a huge favor!  

I won't go near her dumpster again!  Later, I saw kids on four wheelers and motorcycles speeding up and down the sidewalks and all over the Burger King parking lot, and she was yelling at them too.  I think she just likes to yell at people!!! 

Across the street from the Burger King, there's a pharmacy that closed.  Behind it, there was SO MUCH TRASH.  (Don't worry, I'm not touching this.  I'm reporting it to my councilman and the City of Akron.)

There's a building where I'm guessing a dumpster used to be, and it's full of garbage, and most likely snakes.  (Not going near this either.)

I cleaned all along the sidewalk, and around the parking lot in front of the building, and a red car pulled in.  I was going to ask him if all this garbage bothered him, and he exited his car with a pizza and didn't give me a look.  (Apparently, it doesn't bother him.)

This is at the corner of Arlington & Tripplett, a very busy intersection, one block from Wilbeth Road.  

I've never seen so much trash around these bushes.  Ick!

It's all cleaned up now, but this is as far as I got tonight.  One block, and I picked up 2,966 pieces of trash.  

Wow!  This is how my neighborhood used to be.  

My neighborhood is not like this now, and this area won't be messy like this for very long.
