WHAT A MIXTURE OF GOOD AND BAD TONIGHT!

If every night was like tonight, I might turn in my trash grabber.  Tonight was not easy.

I returned to Arlington & Archwood to clean the other two corners.  I got two corners cleaned last night, and there was so much trash.  I didn't think the other two corners would be as bad.  But I was wrong.

I knew it was going to rain, but I had to try.  When I first started picking up trash, a woman with a bunch of friends squealed when she was me and said she saw me on TV.  Then she told her friends the entire story!  It was fun that she had memorized the whole story!

It started pouring down rain, and I ducked under the bus stop roof.  There was a very nice man sitting there with the prettiest blue eyes.  He told me all his his military career.

When it stopped raining hard, I continued toward the drive thru, and the nice young man who always gives me a bottle of ice cold water was there.  I always love seeing him!
There was so much trash around the drive thru.  I see why they don't clean it.  It's too much as busy as they are.  I always use his dumpster to empty my bag, so this is an area I like, but tonight was really hard.

Look at all the lottery tickets curled up from the rain!  My hair was curled up from the rain too!

I found this thing in the grass.  I would hate to hit that with a mower!

I thought it was a garden hose, but when I picked it up, it was very heavy.  It was a cable of some kind.

I threw it in the dumpster.  If somebody needs it, they will find it there.

It's so much fun for me to find an area that doesn't look that bad, and pull all the trash out and see how much there was.
There was a lot, but I expected more.
And this was the final corner by the Napa Auto Parts Store.  I thought I just cleaned this area last week, but when I looked at my calendar, it was over two weeks ago.  I'm thinking I need to clean this intersection every week, like I do Wilbeth & Main and Wilbeth & Arlington.  It's really hard when there's so much.

There's a Circle K across the street, and somehow, the cups end up here.  And there's a pair of pants by the drain!  Who loses their pants?

When I picked them up with my trash grabber, they were poopy!  Ick!  Ick!  Ick!  Now I know who loses their pants!  Anybody who messes in them like that!  Luckily, the dumpster was close, and I was almost done, so they weren't with me long.

I picked up 3,027 pieces of trash on these two corners, and I couldn't hardly wait to get home and jump in the shower!
