YOU CAN'T EVEN WAIT AN HOUR?

This is Archwood and Arlington.  I've always enjoyed cleaning this area, because it looks so nice clean.  You can see where I walk if you follow the pink highlights.

Basically, there are eight sidewalks.  But tonight, it was very hard.  I picked up 3,323 pieces of trash in 3 1/2 hours, and I probably didn't even get it all.

There was so much trash evenly spread out along all eight sidewalks.  I've never seen it this bad.
I picked up all the trash, and you can really see how dead the grass is!
Cars drive really fast, really close to the curb.  This nail was waiting for a tire!
This is beside the Circle K.  I guess nobody wants to claim this piece of property.  The gas station won't clean it.  The house beside it won't clean it.  Ick!
I got that all picked up, cleaned up the broken glass at the light, cleaned five more sidewalks, and I was almost done and  . . .
I found a pile of cigarette butts that somebody just dumped out of their car.  Who does that?

I was thinking maybe I should break this area up into two pieces and not try to do it all in one day.  Maybe I should break it up into four pieces.  Three and a half hours after working all day is a lot.

So I crossed Arlington and headed for my car.  I saw a cup on Archwood and walked over to get it and . . .

Somebody already trashed up the first area I cleaned!  Seriously?  They can't even wait until I'm gone before they throw trash all over the ground again?

What should I do?  Maybe the people in this neighborhood like it looking like a dump.  I don't know what to think.

Maybe horrible people driving by who have no respect for the City of Akron are doing this.  Maybe the people who live in the houses on this street do care, but they've given up.

What do you think?
